Workstations
The John Lemuel Stone Computing Center (map it) is Mann Library's main public computing facility. Located there are over sixty Dell desktop PC's, eight iMacs and several specialized workstations, providing computing services to the Cornell and New York State communities. Mann Library also offers laptops at the Circulation Desk (map it).

Business Resources Area
The Business Resources Area is located on the first floor (map it).
Bloomberg Station: The Bloomberg system is a leading information service for global financial markets. At least 250,000 terminals are used by investment professionals around the world. Learn the Bloomberg essentials to get a head start. You might be using it on the first day of your finance job!
Thomson Datastream Advance: Use Datastream to access over 100 million data series for nearly two million
instruments, including commodities, fixed income securities, equities and futures.
Ernst & Young Online Library: Ernst & Young's Global Accounting & Auditing Information Tool (GAAIT) is your single on-line resource for accounting and auditing standards and Ernst & Young interpretive guidance. Equipped with powerful search and navigation tools, GAAIT is an essential resource for your accounting and auditing research needs.
Assistive Technology Station
The Assistive Technology Station is located on the first floor (map it). Users are able to do library research with assistive aids for viewing, hearing, scanning, Brailling and printing. Features include:
- JAWS (screen reading software)
- Kurzweil (Braille translation software)
- MAGic (screen magnification software)
- Dragon Naturally Speaking (screen reading and voice-to-text software)
- Duxbury (Braille translation software)
- Romeo Brailler (embosser for Braille documents)
AutoCAD with Wacom Tablet Workstation
The AutoCAD 2008 (AutoDesk) with Wacom tablet workstation is available in the Stone Computer Center area next to the Assistive Technology Station (map it) on the first floor. For a list of all available software on this workstation, please check the "Classroom PC's" column of Mann Library Software. Please note that this workstation is identical to the other "Classroom PC's" except that it has a Wacom Intuos3 Professional Pen Tablet

AV Production Room
The AV Production Room is located on second floor in room 261 (map it). Users may ecord, edit or convert video and audio, and create DVD's. Includes two Mac Pro creation stations. Key can be checked out for up to 4 hours with Cornell ID at the Circulation Desk (map it).
VHS-to-DVD Conversion
A Panasonic VHS to DVD deck is available in the Stone Computing Center area (map it) on the first floor (in the far left corner as you walk in the library). It is attached to a Sharp television for viewing. Basic instructions for transferring footage to DVD are posted next to the unit, and online here. A detailed manual is available here. Another unit is in the AV Production room as well.
TV/VCR Viewing Station (with Worldwide-Format VCR)
A television/VCR combo is available in the Stone Computing Center area (map it) on the first floor. This unit also has an attached Samsung worldwide VCR which can play back a wide variety of international videotape formats including PAL and SECAM.
