Not locating a course or item? Try a Course Reserves Search in the Library Catalog instead to see if the item is located elsewhere. The Library Gateway reserves help page can offer guidance on how to search for reserves materials within the catalog.
Items physically located on the reserve shelves, like books and TakeNote, can be checked out at the circulation desk on the first floor of Mann Library. Use the Mann Library Course Reserves Search Form above to locate the call number and check the availability of items on reserve at Mann Library. Please note that circulation desk workers will need the call number of the item in order to retrieve it from the reserve shelves.
Electronic documents like articles, chapters and lecture notes are usually made available to students online via library catalog e-reserves or course Blackboard sites. The Mann Library Reserves search tool will indicate if e-reserves are available for a course, with a link to a list of individual items available. You may access e-reserves from there, usually as PDF documents.
Instructors and teaching assistants may request that items be placed on reserves at Mann using reserves forms available from the CUL Gateway reserves page. Detailed information including policies can be found there. Instructions for adding Mann Reserves as a "Course Builder" for Blackboard sites are also posted.
