Mann Library will be closed Thursday, July 2 through Sunday, July 5, due to an extended Independence Day holiday weekend. In addition to Cornell University’s Independence Day holiday observance on Friday, July 3, the University has announced an additional holiday closure on Thursday, July 2. Mann Library will also be closed on Saturday, July 4, and Sunday, July 5.
The library will reopen on Monday, July 6, at 8:00am.
While the library is closed:
- The Mann Lobby will remain accessible 24/7 to current Cornell students, faculty, and staff via card swipe access.
- Contactless pickup of library materials will continue to be available in the CALS Zone (Mann 112).
- Library materials may be returned using the exterior book drop located in the courtyard between Mann Library and Bradfield Hall. Please do not place laptops or other equipment in the book drop.
- Online library resources – including databases, e-journals, e-books, research guides, and Ask a Librarian services – remain available through the Cornell University Library website.
