Cornell University Library has secured a campus-wide license to The New York Times, providing all Cornell faculty, staff, and students with access to a wide range of New York Times digital content.
The license extends to the entire Cornell community, including graduate and professional students, members of Weill Cornell Medicine, and members of Weill Cornell Medicine–Qatar. In addition to news coverage, users can access New York Times Cooking, Games, Audio, inEducation, Wirecutter, and The Athletic.
To activate access through Cornell’s license, visit the Free Online News for Cornellians LibGuide for step-by-step instructions on:
- Creating a new New York Times account using a Cornell NetID
- Transferring an existing New York Times account to the Cornell-supported license
Cornell University Library is grateful for the partnership and support of the Undergraduate Student Assembly, whose longstanding support of New York Times access helped make this expanded campus-wide license possible.
